Ankara Castle

Ankara Castle, which has a history of over 4 thousand years, has been repaired many times because it was used by various civilizations for both defense and settlement purposes.

The military structure, whose who and when it was built, is not known exactly, and thanks to these repairs, it has survived to the present day by preserving its existence completely.

The Eti Museum, which was founded with the suggestions of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk between 1921-1948, operated in the sign of Akkale of the castle, which hosted the festivals in the summer season.

After visiting the historical building surrounded by souvenir shops and cafes, and watching the view it has, you can visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which is the continuation of this cultural facility dedicated to the Hittite Civilization.
